Spark vs katana isn't a silly debate. It offers to compare opinions, analyse what makes the right choice for each one. Sometimes a detail can completely change your mind... The portability and app of the spark makes it a very good choice in certains situations, but a lot of people will prefer a "knobs" amp despite the poor portability. What can help make a decision is asking the right question, will I travel a lot with the amp ? Do I prefer buttons or the app ? If we all were in the shop with our guitar and try both, everything would be so evident...

I have this guitar in this finish. It is an insane value. One of the most versatile guitars I have ever owned in 30 plus years.. Definitely not just a shredder guitar.

usually guitarist in a too big band or guitarist who has a too famous song will be overrated, I mean Clapton is very very very very overrated

I just sold my last pedal today, an MXR Duke Of Tone, to GC and bought one of these pieces of Boss goodness. Im so tired of individual pedal board set ups. So much fiddling between sets. AHH!!! The ME-90 simplifies everything without sacrificing anything. At least for my needs (small bar gigs and whatnot). I never realized how much I love the Tera Echo + "Klon" Centa vibe, super sweet with a JB in a Strat. Believe it or not, Im running this board into an ancient Marshall MG250DFX 2x12 combo. Straight in the front, clean channel: gain at 2, bass at 1, mids at 1, treble at 9. FDD switch on (somewhat emulates a tube like response). And if I switch on one of the amps effects , the whole rig goes stereo.. and ... WOW!!

never got on with the 5150's the blue channel didnt quite have enough gain and the red channel was overkill

I had one couple years after they came out. I liked it alot. It played very well but I found that I liked a lp style a bit more so I traded it for a epiphone pro 2 with the classic super humbuckers. The epi just felt better. Not knocking the fmt but sound wasn't what it wanted when I got it.

Nothing to add but, I guess this EVH only needs the red channel? I have an amp that's like that, it's on red gain channel almost all the time. With a tube driver too usually. I play the clean channel like three times or so a year. Nice to have occasionally. Later dude.

Kieth Richards is not overrated..... He's a innovator when it comes to how the guitar can be played.... because of some of the various unorthodox tuning s he used he came up with some of the best R & R riffs ever written..... He was the key player in the Rolling Stones sound....especially in the late 60s and early 70s....when the Stones were at their peek.... You can say the same about Jimmy Page...

The product demo video shows a mode you didn't try. So I am disappointed. They show the drums automatically accompanying live real-time to loop WHILE you record. That is how I imagined using it. Play just a few bars and see what drums it selects. You make it tough on yourself trying to play without hearing a click or drums while recording. I have a Jamman that frustrates me. Amazon says there a many returns of this unit.

There are two guitars that I truly regret trading away: the first was my 2005/2006 Jay Turser Flying V clone, and my 1990 Charvette 250…. Pickups were terrible on the Charvette, but man I loved that neck…. Traded both for stupid reasons

That is the most unmusical sounding amp. I would never buy one after watching this video.

First…if that EVH is THAT uncontrollable even at modest volumes and gain settings, I would consider it un-fucking-usable….why bother with an amp that noisy when there are other options out there?

The NS2 is OK, but the Boss NS-1X is far better IMO. It has both a gate and a suppressor, and more customization options, so it replaced 4 other more expensive noise pedals I had purchased for various uses.

Well it's about time you got one, joking 😂 I use mostly single coils and use a budget noise gate pedal. It doesn't affect my tone and quiets down any white noise from my amps besides taming the 60 cycle hum.

I was not informed noise suppression was necessary after purchasing my first Strat 🎸/ amp combo several decades ago‼️ like everyone I found out the hard way Allan 👉 single coil vs humbucker pickups 👉 how is a young kid suppose to know Alan❓ I was NOT happy Alan ‼️ kudos for making a great informative video 👍 on this little Gem 🔷 noise cancelling is necessary‼️

I use the fortin zull or the guptech noise gate But if you haven't tried it, the magic in the pedal board is the MXR ten band e q in the loop it's a game changer... I will never play another amp without it

Overrated: Jimi Hendrix in terms of fast/complicated compared to Vai or Satriani. Underrated: When you understand what Hendrix did on stage is the most technical difficult thing to do ever.

Few of these guys are underrated, especially Brian May. Pretty much naming off a dime a dozen players. Rory Gallagher is an underrated player, Jake E Lee etc. these guys played well but weren’t unique in any way

Buckethead is so anonymous that even most underrated lists dont know who he is
